Frankly, I actually liked coming here at first to Deptford Costa Coffee, and felt the atmosphere and service was ok. But lately I'm sensing my presence isn't wanted. Anyway, I have noticed too frank funny attitudes from female customer service mostly and have seen new female faces serving who are also apart of the problem. Also the tables - especially the ones I go to sit at because the good spaces get taken up quickly are dirty with visible plates etc. You would think that cleansiness would be a number one priority. I also notice favouritism when it comes to certain customers. Customers getting their tables cleaned even when they are presently sat at them, where as I get ignored at mine, where my table and my cutlery doesn't get picked up. I sense flat-out prejudice and ignorance.

A hidden Costa! Even living in the area for a while I did not know the Costa was located by one of the main Squares in Deptford. A short walk from the rail station and next to the High Street. Inside the shop is large consisting of the main service area and two seating areas. Range of seating from comfy chairs to high bar by the window for a quick break. Outdoor seating under awning dependant on weather. Standard Costa offering with the fridge well stocked and baked goods. WiFi on offer and mobile signal works well. Toilet is under a passcode so need to ask the staff for access. Over the years the service always pleasant and the shop is clean in good condition.Kid-friendliness: Lots of room in the shopWheelchair accessibility: Step free
